ADOC Secretariat
ADOC maintains a Secretariat Office in Chinese Taipei to administer the ADOC program. It oversees the establishment of all ADOC Partner Offices and is also responsible for all project management and resource allocation. The office also maintains the ADOC portal to ensure that information is relayed timely and accurately.
ADOC Partner Office EstablishmentThe ADOC Secretariat oversees the establishment of ADOC Partner Offices in the ADOC Partner Member Economies. The ADOC Secretariat works together with the Partner Offices to design, plan and implement initiatives for e-Government, e-Industry, and Trade Facilitation.
Project Management
The Secretariat Office manages all major ADOC projects, overseeing the planning, supervision, and execution.
ADOC Portal
The Secretariat Office maintains the ADOC portal, which provides up-to-the-minute information on the latest ADOC activities. The portal plans to host a virtual training center late 2005, providing numerous ICT courses that can be completed online or downloaded. Trade is also facilitated with a large database of ICT Service Providers, allowing easy access to the latest ICT solutions. An online ‘Bidding Invitation System’ also enables users to post their tenders for services providers to make bids. The portal also serves as a communication platform for both the ADOC and APEC communities, allowing users to exchange views, experiences and opinions on wide range of e-Related topics.
Contact Window
The Secretariat Office serves as a contact window for all ADOC Partner Offices as well as for other APEC member economies.
