ADOC Training Center

The ADOC Training Center will be established in Chinese Taipei, 2005. It will provide a complete range of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) training programs for all the ADOC Partner Member Economies. The programs will be divided into two categories: Training for Trainers and Training for Professionals.

Training for Trainers
Training for Trainers is designed to provide each ADOC Partner Member Economy with a team of qualified professional ICT instructors. The training programs will run for two months, covering a wide range of subjects related to ICT. Trainees will also receive guidance on areas related to actual ‘Training’ such as Presentation Skills, Curriculum Writing as well as others.

Training for Professionals
Training for Professionals is designed to provide professionals, both in government and industry, with practical courses that will enable them to improve the ICT skills within their organizations. Each course will run for 3-5 days, covering various topics such as ICT, e-Government, e-Business, and e-Learning.

From 2004 to 2008, the ADOC Training Center plans to train at least 200 trainers and 800 professional trainees. Trainers and professionals from every ADOC Partner Member Economy are encouraged to join.

To ensure that the training is open to all, the ADOC Secretariat is willing to cover many of the trainees’ expenses such as transportation, tuition, accommodation well as basic living expenses.
